About the author
Will O'Hara grew up in Toronto and Kingston, Ontario. Since his earliest days he's been an enthusiastic canoeist and hiker. When he was fifteen he and a friend the same age paddled the St. Lawrence River from Kingston to Montreal, accompanied only by good luck. ENEMY ARROWS draws heavily from Will's own restless youth and his experiences in the wilderness.
Will lives in Bloor West Village, within blocks of the walled village described in ENEMY ARROWS, near the Humber River. When he discovered the ancient First Nations' mound near Magwood Park he set out to learn as much as he could about the original inhabitants of Toronto and the Great Lakes area. The result was ENEMY ARROWS.
An avid hiker and an obsessive travel photographer, Will and his three daughters often visit the reconstructed Huron-Wendat village at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, where part of ENEMY ARROWS takes place.
Will is a partner at Magyar, Bogle & O'Hara LLP and a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation.
